Overview:

All workplaces contain hazards to the health of the people who work in and visit it. In the absence of any management, these hazards are uncontrolled and present an unacceptable danger to all concerned. The aim of health and safety management, therefore, is to turn these uncontrolled hazards into controlled risks. This course will enable the learner to do this by using a cyclical process of problem identification, solution provision and ongoing evaluation.
