Affiliate Scheme - Creating Your Links

Follow the instructions below to create links to our site which will include your unique affiliate code, so that commissions on any sales will be credited to your account.

Creating Links

You can create links to any page on our site. For example, you may wish to create links to individual course pages. You will need to use the following code to make your links (the code should be one single line but is displayed here on two lines in order to fit on the page)...

http://www.associatedetraining.co.uk/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=USERNAME&page=http://www.associatedetraining.co.uk/PAGE.php

...but replace USERNAME with your username, and PAGE with the page on our site that you wish to link to.

Example:

Say for example that you had created an account with the username 'John', and that you wanted to create a link to the 'Project Management' course page. In this case, you would use the following code for your link:

http://www.associatedetraining.co.uk/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=John&page=http://www.associatedetraining.co.uk/
online_courses/management/project_management.php

Testing Your Links

Once you have created the link(s) and uploaded your page in the usual way, click through from that link and make sure it goes to the page you intended (if the page name is not correct, the link will automatically default to the home page). If the link does not go to the page you intended, make sure that your link code is exactly right (especially check the page name). If your link appears to be working correctly, log in to your account and check your stats. You should now have a click in your 'Total Clicks'.
